GDPR, Privacy, Blah, Blah, Blah …

If you are like me, you are probably fed up of all the emails about GDPR. In fact, if you are a lot like me, you are probably even more fed up of thinking about what you need to do to be compliant with GDPR and what should go into your privacy policy for your websites and business.

Well, WordPress left it late, but then as the deadline approached, they delivered the goods with a model policy to cover sites using WordPress and plugins such as Jetpack. So, thanks Automattic, Problem solved.

For the record, I don’t operate an email list as such. If you have subscribed to the website, you may get an email when a new post is added, but that’s about it. And other than the data gathered via the websites, I only have contact details that were necessary to get any prints you ordered delivered to you. And frankly, that’s the way it’s going to stay. If you want to be kept up to date, subscribe to the website, like the Facebook page, or follow me on Twitter, Tumblr, Linkedin or Google+ … it’s your choice.

That’s the boring bit done. The next post will be something more interesting.

P.S. If you just can’t get enough of this GDPR stuff, then feel free to feast your eyes on my privacy policy … http://imagenic.uk/privacy-policy/
