Panoramic prints on canvas …

This image of St Monans was created from twelve overlapping photographs that were combined to give a 33,000 x 3,000 pixel panoramic view. This was then reduced to a 4:1 aspect ratio – 12,000 pixels wide – and printed on a 120cm by 30cm canvas.

The image is a unique depiction of St Monans, taken after heavy snowfall in 2010, and including features such as the partly dismantled skeleton of Miller’s boatshed on the east pier. It was created with the help of AutoStitch software.
